LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Overview
Today's business environment is constantly changing and becoming more volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous. As a direct response to staff need for professional development, as identified in the 2019 Community Needs Assessment and included in the agency's current Strategic Plan. CommUnify has developed LEAD CommUnify. LEAD CommUnify (Learn/self, Empower/others, Advance/agency, Deliver/results) a scalable and sustainable leadership development program designed to equip staff across all levels of the agency with the skill set required to meet our community, family, and agency needs.
RESEARCH-BASED
LEAD CommUnify is grounded in the research-based development program, The Leadership Challenge®. The Leadership Challenge approaches leadership as a measurable, learnable, and teachable set of behaviors. Participants will begin the program by completing The Leadership Practices Inventory® (LPI), a 360-degree leadership assessment that provides a roadmap and simple leadership language, followed by a day-long Leadership Challenge Workshop.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE
The pilot program will be administered over nine months using a series of assessments, workshops, roundtable discussions, guest speakers, readings, executive coaching, and multimedia presentations. Participants will engage in core competency-based leadership training, including ethics and risk management, problem-solving collaboration, data fluency, digital literacy, self-management, and adaptive mindset.
